Bio

I was born an accountant. It just took me a little while to get the accreditation. Seriously, ask my husband. I love to get at business challenges and solve them – and in accounting, it very much is a case of black and… red. We either make money or we don’t. We get sales or we need to get more. Love it! I’m also a big fan of trying and learning new things and seeing new places. I love to travel, but you won’t likely see me going to the same place twice. My desire for adventure and discovery is currently fed by sailing. Easy to learn and difficult to master – it should keep me busy for the next few years.

Me in a Few Questions

Where’s Home?

Etobicoke… that place outside the old City of Toronto just west of Humber River.

Where else would I run into you?

Middle of Lake Ontario. If you’re in a motor boat, keep in mind that sailing boats have the right of way.

Your hidden talent?

I’m told, I’m a great cook… but I exercise it only often enough to remind the people in my life what they’re missing.

What is your morning mug filled with?

Fruit shakes – prepared fresh most mornings.

Best meal you ever ate?

Souvlaki at a small booth by the side of the Corinth Canal. Either that or the breakfast that my husband makes on Saturday mornings.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Teleportation… just think of all the places one could visit!

If you could be any age for a week, what age would that be?

29… like always

Mountains or the beach?

Can I do both? Try Crete in late Spring… snow capped peaks and water you enjoy swimming in.

What question do you hate to answer?

Which Star Trek captain is best? … Star Trek is not the same as Star Wars, right? And my husbands answer would be Picard.

If you could retire tomorrow, what would you do?

Sail the Med… Greece to Croatia to Italy to France… you get the picture.
