Bio

I thought I was going to be a Chiropractor. One day my father sat me down and convinced me that I should try the family car business. That was over 35 years ago! I love sports, specifically I’m a passionate mountain biker, marathoner and a Padi scuba diving instructor. Being with nature is food for my soul. I look foreword to my annual canoe trip to Algonquin Park with my wife Jacquie and if I’m lucky, my 3 daughters as well.

Me in a Few Questions

Where else would I run into you?

In the gym or on the mountain biking trails in the Don Valley or Durham Forest. Gotta stay in shape!

Best meal you ever ate?

Love food and wine. My wife Jacquie is the best cook going. Very creative. Her cedar plank salmon is to die for.

If time and money were no option where would you go?

I love to travel, in fact the whole family does. I would love to get to the Maldives before they are covered by the rising levels of the ocean. The scuba diving there is supposed to be amazing.

What is your morning mug filled with?

Nothing. I wont let caffeine run my life.

What was the last picture you took with your phone?

Snow shoeing in the Don. It was glorious. You would think that the picture was taken up north.

What is your perfect pizza?

I am a self proclaimed pizza expert. The best pizza in the city is at Mercurio, on Bloor just west of University. Thin crust, lots of cheese, veggies and hot Italian salami. Yummm!

What cheers you up?

Being with my wife and 3 daughters is the cure for anything that is bothering me.

What is your favourite thing to spend money on?

Art and wine. I collect both. It’s a passion.

Mountains or the beach?

Oh beach for sure. The beach is soothing, so relaxing. It’s my dream to own a beach home in the Bahamas and retire there.
